On Friday, January 26th, three students competed in a welding competition at Missouri Welding Institute, where they were tested on their ability to pipe weld. Each student walked away with a $1,000 scholarship to attend Missouri Welding Institute, and a brand new Welding jacket. #SCCCWorks

Congratulations to our SCCC DECA Chapter! SCCC DECA was among 645 chapters that achieved Thrive Level recognition during the 2023-2024 school
year and will be commended at DECA’s International Career Development Conference (ICDC) held April 27-30, 2024, in Anaheim, California. This is the sixth year in a row the chapter has earned Thrive status and the only chapter in Missouri to achieve all chapter campaigns. #SCCCDECA #SCCCWORKS

Korynn wrote her letter of appreciation to Yeager's Harley-Davidson in Sedalia, MO. In the letter, Korynn learned the history of the business, different departments, services, and products offered by Yeager's Harley-Davidson. Enclosed in the envelope were poker chips for each student in the class. The chips are collected by riders at each shop they visit to display later.
